(December 20, 2018, 6:54 pm)Arepa Pues is a small Colombian lunch shack located in the Elmora neighborhood district right on Elmora Ave.
The signage recently changed to "Arepas Colombianas" but it's hard to miss with their giant hulking, cute logo.
Upon entering, you'll find the large counter to order from as well as various table seating and booths by the window.
Their menu consists of various Colombian-style filled arepas. I'd recommend either the Super Poderosa or the Arepa Paisa.
The stuffed arepas are extremely affordable, and are of great portion. In addition, they offer traditional Colombian plates and daily specials, such as the national plate, the bandeja paisa, but their arepas are their specialty.
I always order a fruit shake, or batido, when I'm here, as they are made with a delicious slushy consistency and always with fresh fruit! -
