The Lab Restaurant/Take-Out

The sandwiches are great and you can't go wrong no matter which you pick. The smoked mac and cheese really is as good as everyone says it is.

The ramen is interesting... if you're looking for traditional Japanese flavor profile this isn't it but it stands out as it's own thing. Worth a shot if you're into ramen.

They make homemade lemonade and I strongly suggest getting the strawberry version as it's refreshing and goes well with the heavy comfort food.

Very unique and super flavorful takes on chicken, pork belly, short rib, etc. One of my favorites from there is the short rib eggroll. A good number of the things on the menu come with a certain level of spice so if you're not into spicy food you should ask them what they have on the menu that isn't spicy. Another favorite is the antidote which is like a lemonade with mashed strawberries in it.

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! I am from the Smithfield, VA area where pork is king. Had the Pork Belly tacos and Fish tacos...WOW! The mango sauce, the food, the atmosphere, and the twist that “G” and his staff are bringing to the area is way under estimated! The best Asian BBQ Fusion restaurant I have ever been to. Originally from Cincinnati and have lived is California and this place ranks in my top 5 Best Places to Eat! I expect big things from these folks leading their generation in the right direction with good food and entrepreneurship. I will be surprised if I never see them on the Food Network.

You guys have a great thing going! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to eating there again while I am in the area and when I come back next year! Big things are coming to The Lab!!!!

Delicious and unique recipes you won't find anywhere else in the area. I had the pork belly capsule with smoked Mac and cheese, cilantro-ginger coleslaw and grilled asparagus. Excellent. A co-worker had a prototype and a side of Mac and cheese. He expected a small side but the serving was huge. Would go again.
