KAWA RAMEN HOUSE

Really wanted to like this place, but sadly neither the food nor the atmosphere lived up to the hype. Description in their about page says "revolutionizing the way people eat and enjoy food." Overall concept is great: warm steamy noodles that warms your body and soul, but also revolutionary. However, going in on a cold night, the place is very drafty. The front staff is inexperienced, totally awkward and not friendly at all. That's all fine if the food makes up for it. But sadly all the dishes were very standard. Broth from my tonkatsu was watery and tasted like it came from an instant pack. Noodles and fixings were average. Takoyaki and scallion pancakes also taste like they came from frozen packs. They are cooked properly cooked though. Chicken katsu curry was dry with a sad curry sauce. Just feels like a lack of effort.

The staff was kind and the food was really delicious 10/10 would recommend coming here :)

So refreshing to find a place where they are so passionate about their craft. I stopped by today for a quick lunch and the service was top notch. Ordered a tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. Very tasty and different from the usual shops. The owner explained how much was put into perfecting their broth and the care that went into everything. Definitely shows!!! I am so glad for a new place to munch instead of the usual fair. If you are ever around town I recommend giving them a try!!!

Excellent excellent excellent. Katsu and ocean raman dishes great. I wish they had outdoor dining. Been there 4 times and love it.

Had a fantastic meal here the other night. Ramen was delicious and beautifully presented. And they served us in a timely manner for just opening and being fairly busy! Can’t wait to go back!
