Taka Sushi Restaurant

A little pricey compared to other local places but it was good.

I eat a good deal of sushi but I always come back to Taka. They're probably the best outside of Manhattan. Don't expect huge pieces with big chunks of rice, which I found is the main draw for some other local venues - that isn't what makes for great sushi. What Taka offers is perfect portions with outstanding flavor. Service is always friendly and attentive. It can get a bit pricey if, like me, you tend to order a la carte, but that's somewhat offset because it's BYOB. Highly recommended.

Nice, inexpensive Japanese option in town

Good quality fish, but a bit pricy for the amount of food you're getting. Rolls are smaller (not always bad) relative to other area sushi restaurants.
