“The food was great! I ordered a raspberry truffle which was amaze! I love the atmosphere however the waiter was extremely rude. When I asked him questions about the menu, specifically the drinks he didn’t seem to know and responded with short answers and an attitude and I stated that was rude. After he walked away and I saw him roll his eyes. He does not have to be so rude to customers when they’re simply asking questions in a polite manner. The waiter totally through me off and not to mention his service was horrible, as far as checking on my table. Unacceptable. Great place but they need to do better.”

“I've been wanting to try this place, but I abhor "live music" or any loud music when I'm trying to eat. It's my opinion that any place that has loud music or any live performance isn't actually a good place to eat. Fortunately the Saturday night that we attended El Chingon there was no live music, although we did have to ask that the volume be reduced since we couldn't hear what each other was saying across the table without shouting. I had hoped that the food would be decent, but those hopes were fleeting. We started with nachos and some drinks. The nachos were really good and the drinks were fantastic. I ordered a combination plate with civeche, skirt stake and chicken wings. Everything was flavorful and the steak was perfectly cooked to order and very juicy. I don't know if it was the lack of other patrons on this bitter cold night, but service was fantastic since we were the only other table in attendance on a Saturday night. Looking forward to going back again.”
