“My family and I had an amazing meal at Sapore Di Italia. The Prosciutto di Parma Pizza was delicious and a must try! We also shared the gnocchi which was the best I’ve ever had -please don’t tell my Italian nana! The gnocchi wasn’t heavy like many others I’ve had over the years and the sauce was very tasty. I’ve eaten many Italian meals, and really enjoyed this one. The owner, Adriano, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and introduced us to his chef Salvatore from Rome who’s been cooking since his teens. I would highly recommend checking out this spot for some great local Italian food.”

“I have been there twice in their first week open for takeout. As a foodie, I can say that the food all around is fantastic. Everything from the pad Thai to the pineapple fried rice was awesome. “Delicious! I just found Melao this year, and regret not visiting more the last 2 years I've lived in Rahway. It's very conveniently located in the main town district - parking can be tough, so walking is best or loop around for street parking. Super friendly owners and staff members. They make ordering online, over the phone, or in person easy. If they're busy on a weekend, you may need to wait 30-40 minutes but it's worth it. Otherwise, I usually pick up within 10-15 minutes. Their teas and ice cream are all delicious.”

Chicken Bihari was the freshest serving, rest of the food tasted as prepared much earlier including nan. Charges as per sit-down restaurant but misses to deliver the value. “Was in the area and got excited after seeing this listing on Yelp - I'm a HUGE fan of Indian food (I'm from Edison, NJ aka Indian food capital of America ... this isn't an official title but I'm sure many would agree). Ordered: 1) Crispy Cauliflower Appetizer ($12) - wouldn't normally order this but I saw so many reviews mention it and it was !!! worth it !!! The texture on the cauliflower was amazing 2) Chicken Tikka Masala ($19) 3) Spinach and Cottage Cheese aka Saag Paneer ($18) ^ 2) and 3) are my sister and I's go-to's at any Indian restaurant and given this was our first time dining here, we knew we had to get both as a way to judge the restaurant. I've been lucky to eat at many Indian restaurants so this is pretty crazy when I say this is the ***best Indian food I've had*** The depth of the sauces particularly was spot on! Other pros: The interior is decorated really nicely and you can definitely tell it's a classy Indian spot. The dry ice to "cleanse" at the beginning is kind of extra but hey, something you don't see all the time. The con: I wish I could give this place 5 stars but for Indian food, this is definitely on the pricier side. And when there are dozens of alternatives nearby, I'm not sure if it's always worth to spend the extra amount.”
