Go here for sushi over hot food. My friend liked her hand rolls, A LOT. great great flavor and size. I wanted to try the ramen, but it's so pricey....15-16$ a bowl. The restaurant, in general, was pricey for the area. I had the vegetable hibachi lunch, 1/3 of it was mushrooms....not a fan. Small portions, and the fried rice was mediocre.
Great place for a special lunch. Food is always amazing, staff is friendly and helpful. Some visits may have been better then others but that has nothing to do with the food. I really love the ambiance of the place.. you get a great feeling when you walk in and it all makes for s great dining experience. ????
My girlfriend and I visited Fujiyama on a Saturday night. And they were packed! it is a beautiful restaurant with a great ambience. We were seated rather quickly. It took the waitress a little while to come and take our order. After waiting for our order for over an hour we asked the waitress if we can get it to go. It was brought out minutes later. If the wait wasn’t so long I’d give this place five stars.
The sushi on the other hand was absolutely amazing! We ordered five separate rolls and each one was better than the last.
This place is definitely a five-star restaurant but when they get packed on the weekends it is crazy.
We will definitely be going back to Fujiyama in the future but next time we’ll get our order to go.
This is by far the best sushi/hibachi spot in the area! Everything is always fresh and presented beautifully. Bring a nice bottle of wine and enjoy!
Fujiyama is a fun place to go with a crowd. For the past several years my niece has selected this hibachi restaurant as her go to place for a birthday party that includes family and close friends. The chef does his best to entertain guests with a little cooking show. Although I can't help but think he is laughing at us peasants as he tosses food in the air to catch in your mouth. The food is okay. Veggies, rice and shrimp are always good. Meat usually gets to dry and is not tasty. I guess that's why you get lots of sauce. The place is a bit loud so can be a challenge to hear even the person next to you. But not bad for a once a year gathering.
