The food was great. I had a burger and fries. My companion has Linguini white clam. Our server, Erin, was very attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Loved Karaoke night
Cauliflower bites are cooked florets in sesame sauce. Sweet potato fries were limp and soft. Salad with Salomon was fresh salmon somewhat dry. Burger was good. My big issue is the restaurant charges 4% to use a credit card. It is figured by adding bill total and tax. If this matters not to u enjoy.
First time ever at Stone tavern. I've heard not so good reviews of the original but I thought I'd give it a try with the wife being that we live so close. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Fran, was awesome. Based on her service alone we will back. Now on to the rest though. The owners were not so attentive. The husband came up to us, asked us a question but walked away while we were answering. Wasn't a fan of that. His wife poured herself a beer and sat with another table. Hopefully this gets better. I thought it was unprofessional it I guess if you're the owner you can do what you want. The kitchen was behind and our food clearly sat under the heat lamp for quite some time. All in all the food was pretty good. The place has great potential! We will be back.
Food was delicious. You can tell they use fresh and high quality ingredients. The cooks also know how to properly cook a burger to your liking.
Our server, Valerie, made sure we were well taken care of. She checked with the chefs on menu items before we ordered, and she checked in with us and the kitchen to provide updates about the order. Lastly, she anticipated needs. We felt very well cared for.
Much better dining option than the more established taverns near by.
It was only day 2! Not fair to review yet during the soft opening. I'll post a better review later on this summer. The renovations are very promising. Great outdoor space and it looks like the indoor space is coming along nicely. They have to un-do the cheesy former decor and weird specific construction from the former tenants. Food was good but there are some early kinks after they just opened. Italian dishes are spot on, though! I recommend going after the grand opening in early July 2022 to let them get fully up and running.
