One of my favorite places to stop in for a quick bite, they haven't had the most consistency with their food, but usually it's really good, just an occasional outlier which hasn't happened in a while.
They have some of the best chai in town and their specials are always tasty and creative.
The best feature is the wide range of dishes. You can find dishes inspired by Mediterranean, Asian, Indian, cuisine but also chili-cheese fries and cookies. All dishes were well seasoned (not a given in vegan/ vegetarian restaurants) and were nice representations of their style. Why not 5 stars? It's a bit too spiritual for the average eater, the water is not cooled, and the interior could be dwelling a bit less on the past. A first place in a best of from 2005 or 2009 can be mentioned but a wall off 10 year old prizes looks cluttered, makes you wonder how often the walls are painted, and rubs in the fact that there are no winnings over the last 10 years.
Randomly found this gem in Albuquerque and so glad we did! Great option for vegan food in town with a few locations across the city.
We had the Pasta Me Up and Tofu Stir Fry, which were so good we kept going back to Annapurna's during our stay.
Love this location and the ambience.
So glad I happened to wander in Annapurna’s because I was pleasantly surprised by the absolutely delicious and grounding food I was served. I was happy to explore foods that complimented my doshas and to try new dishes. The aromas alone were sufficient to satisfy, but the peaceful atmosphere, friendly service, and new experience were enough to make me a forever fan. Anytime I’m in Albuquerque, I’ll definitely return!
