The lady working that evening was absolutely amazing. Fantastic service and incredibly sweet. I was stuck at the airport for 12 hours that evening and she made sure I had some good food, and was so exceptionally nice.
Food and drink were really good when it actually got to me. I was kept waiting at the bar for like 15-20 minutes waiting to check out. I kept looking at the bartender while bouncing my credit card on the bar. The guy really needs to learn how to hustle especially when there aren't many patrons around.
Oh and their shark bowls don't have the shark gummies!
Food was okay. Server was a little overwhelmed by handling 6 tables at once. He tried to get things right. He was nice though and that helped. But corporate should put prices for ALL ITEMS ON ALL MENUS.
And the kitchen should make the dishes as described in the menu. Variations without asking the customer is not cool. (example, when a salad is in the menu with dressing and a lemon wedge on the side, it is not acceptable to put the dressing on the salad and soak the salad with lemon juice)
If it wasn't for the server trying to make the best of the situation and being throughly pleasant, we would have asked for the meal to be comped.
The food is great (I tried to order the entire menu...the waitress looked at me weird...but then she got that I was joking). Presentation, taste, portions, all spot-on. The staff is super friendly, and makes you feel at home—which is important when you're far from home.
I like to know that there are places that can make me happy and calm my hunger all in one spot. Applebee's hit the spot all at once and the cozy atmosphere is a must to feel at home.
Large screens will keep you entertained and there's quite a few tables, so your wait won't be long at all.
Love going there to get my Asian salad good happy hour also
