Blake's Lotaburger

The cashier he was so polite and friendly. Seems like every time I'm missing part of my order and gave to go back or wait for them to prepare if caught there. The food is not hot its warm in most cases. I love Blake's just wish I could get the food I have grown to love every time with some consistency!

Blake's Lotaburger and I have a long history that goes back to the early 60's. In fact, I am old enough to remember when the 'Lotaburger' really was a lot-of-burger. Some where along the way it got down-sized. It still is very tasty….. Just smaller.  Their burgers are cooked made-to-order so if you are looking for fast-food, this may not be the place for you. If their drive-through has more than one car waiting, I recommend going inside to place your order, but that's just me.

The drive-through is their weakest link. I can not remember when they actually got my drive-through order 100% correct. Items are frequently missing or substituted. For your sanity, I recommend going inside. At least you get a chance review the order for accuracy. It always makes me feel bad when someone doesn't get the food they ordered and it also makes me angry when I don't receive the food for which I have already paid. Promises of replacements or refunds does not give adequate compensation for the situation. Either way someone will get cold food. 

As long as you understand the limitations, a delicious green chili cheese burger can be in your future.

This Blake’s is usually pretty good. But this time I waited 20 minutes to get my food because I thought I’d try Blake’s chili fries. Turns out the chili wasn’t ready, but nobody told me until I asked why it was taking so long. When I finally got my order the burger was cold from sitting, the fries were cold. And the chili fries I waited so long for we’re also cold ... not even warm enough to melt the cheese! I would leave 1 Star, but they’ve been good in the past so I’m hoping this is a one-time bad experience...
