Cocina Azul

Cocina Azul is always such a solid spot for food. I absolutely love their Queso with green chile. It is especially awesome because the cops are homemade which results in a thick, crunchy, flavorful chip that is unlike what your will find at most other establishments. The flavors are always on point and the service is phenomenal.

The stew was very good, but the waitress kind of forgot about me and left me sitting outside for 45 minutes while other people ordered while I waited to have my questions answered about ordering gluten free. I was truly hoping to get a taste of authentic Tex-Mex food in Albuquerque. I wanted to try more than rice and beans. The salsa from the people before me at the table where I sat outside spilled on my white pants. I was able to flag someone down however to clean it up. In all honesty oh, it was very busy as well

My go to spot when I come back home to visit ABQ. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Authentic flavor. I have never eaten something here I wasn't 100% satisfied with. The beers on draft are amazing.

This was an excellent place for dinner! Friendly service, pretty good food. Not strictly authentic but its better than American mexican food.
