Had lunch with friends last Thursday at Dave's new location and it was incredible! The restaurant layout, bar, and patio all have the special Dave touch...well done! The food and service were what you would expect at one of Dave's restaurants...fantastic. We had salads and they were fresh and delicious. The Pear & Brie salad is my all time favorite. I hope all those in the heights know how lucky they are to have a Dave's Grill.
Everyone was warm and friendly! I got the Bourbon Barbecue Meatloaf sandwich and it was delicious. One of my dining buddies got the Dave’s Laid Back Lager which was really good. We completely recommend Dave’s!
This is not a cliche, stereotypical NM grill. It’s fresh and imaginative. The menu is full service and as broad as it is deep. Everyone should be able to find there next new favorite here.
I came in for brunch. I had the salmon scramble and whiskey banana walnut pancakes with vanilla ice cream.
The scramble was excellent. Nothing overcooked and both the salmon and the artichoke were the main flavor features of the dish.
The pancakes were more than I could finish, being a full dish on their own. They were fluffy, rich and satisfying.
The owner (Dave) was at the store attending carefully to his staff and patrons. He’s friendly and personable. I believe his culinary passion and experience is demonstrated in the quality food prepared and served by his quality staff.
I highly recommend Dave’s grill. I will definitely bring my friend here.
An oasis in the desert! You got to try this wonderful restaurant!
A laid back vibe. The interior is simply lovely! Painted brick surrounding an island bar. The server was friendly as was the entire staff. We were seated after a short wait. The indoor seating is somewhat limited, there is a patio space which should help once the weather warms. The music was also enjoyable, a fairly eclectic list of old favorites.
Our server was on point, very helpful! We were in for a late brunch and a beer. There is a full bar and their liquor list is impressive. We ended up with chicken nachos which were excellent! I had a couple of beers, a very nice beer menu of local and regional favorites.
The nachos were enough to satisfy two, good quality toppings. We particularly enjoyed the fajita style pepper and onions and the chicken was tender and flavorful!
After dinner, on the way out, at least four dinners thanked us for dining, they have a class wait staff!
