I rarely give a bad review but this one is warranted, 8n my opinion. First, the Godfather (most expensive) was just OKAY at best. It is thin and without much in the way of flavor or crunchiness. Second, the person attempting to help me agreed toake brewed tea. He simply hit a button to start it but never added a tea bag, which I assume must have already been in the basket. I assumed wrong. There was one in there but it was the old one so the resulting tea was very weak, needless to say. He apologized and said he couldn't remember the last time he made tea. The chairs were adequate but uncomfortable. Nobody was dining and it was dinner time. I should have taken a hint when I walked in. Save your money.
Took my adult kids here for their birthdays and the pizza was amazing, waitress "Sherry" was so nice and made sure we were good the whole time. Definitely our new spot!
My wife has eaten the food many times and loves it. It was my first time eating here and I'm happy to say that I agree with my wife. The food here is quite good. The food tastes like it's made with fresh and quality ingredients. I typically prefer thicker pizza crusts because thin crusts often come out really crunchy like crackers, but this thin crust pizza had great texture. It has a bit of a crunch, but still soft enough to fold without breaking. The service was great as well. The owner and the employee were both very friendly and made us feel welcome. This is now my favorite brick oven pizza place. I definitely recommend eating here.
Stopped in and tried a Lobo pizza and a house salad and really enjoyed the food. Service was friendly and dinning area was clean and inviting. Happy to have Firenze Pizzaria in the neighborhood.
Stopped by Firenze Pizzeria on Candelaria and Tramway and WOW! The dining area is super comfortable and well decorated. Prices are reasonable and the staff was clearly competent in their jobs. The wait times were very reasonable.
And the food!
The food was exceptional! The pesto salad was so tasty and dressing was something completely new to me. The pizza was wonderful. I love that they have a classic open pizza oven. I can't say enough about how good everything was and I hope more locals take time to enjoy this wonderful pizzeria.
