Truth be told I love Flying Star. From their food to the ambiance of the restaurants it's hard to find a better place to meet or take people. Wide variety of food options. The desserts and pastries are absolutely phenomenal. I hate all things that are gluten free....that being said their Gluten-Not Flap Jacks are my favorite breakfast item. I highly recommend the Ranch Breakfast and substitute toast with a Flap Jack.
This was a nice cafe that boast plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the classic burger and added bacon and avocado along with a gluten free bun and it came with fries. The burger and bun were on the drier side and came with a small portion of french fries. The flavor of the burger was just okay. My mom ordered the Spanish Frittata and mentioned that everything tasted really good and all of the ingredients were fresh but could have done without the green olives in the salad. There are a few vegan and gluten free options for those with dietary restrictions. Customer service was attentive and pleasant and I would return to try other items on the menu.
I went here with my family for an early lunch. This place was super crowded and there was hardly anywhere to sit. If you're lucky enough to find a seat you almost sit on someone's table while trying to get in yours. You have to order at the counter and the food gets delivered to your table. The bakery items looked good but I didn't get anything. I was impressed that they had vegan items on their menu. I'd go back.
This is one of my favorite places to go to in Albequerque for a bite to eat. Especially because I am lactose intolerant and they have a vegan chocolate cake that I can eat. Food is always wonderful and the people who work there are always great. It’s dog friendly which is nice so we bring our pup in with us or sit outside. The food from breakfast, lunch and dinner is all very good and I enjoy the changing seasonal menu as well. Will always be back to have more of that Vegan chocolate cake. For those that can eat normally, my boyfriend says all their baked goods are very good. He always seems extremely happy eating them.
This is an interesting restaurant. Clearly popular with the locals. The food was good, the portions excellent and the service was ok. There is a big desert selection, plus the menu offers a wide selection.
