(January 2, 2020, 9:53 pm)Always looking for something new and on a cold day we found Gen Kai's. It was nice and quiet so we got great service. The tables were clean and the food was colorful and flavorful. I suggest taking the Art bus if work on Central it was quick and easy to walk too.

(October 27, 2019, 8:03 pm)This is my favorite restaurant in the entire world! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and they even carry a good sized vegan friendly menu. I order the curry again and again and it never gets boring, and the owners are so sweet to my children! 50/10 recommend every time.

(April 2, 2017, 7:17 pm)Great local business! Their service is fast and good, and the food is amazing. For the quality and serving sizes, the price is very reasonable. Their pork katsudon is my favorite food (on their menu, but also in general), but everything I've had from their menu is just as delicious.
*They do take credit cards but prefer cash if you can stop by an ATM before coming.
