Wow. fantastic! Absolutely wonderful food! Excellent prices. Great little atmosphere, extremely friendly owner/chef/server. Our new favorite spot in Albuquerque. We ordered the vegetarian mezzanine plus the Greek salad and the yogurt sauce. Delicious! So grateful this place is here.
I went out for lunch with my mom on Monday and were happy to spot a new restaurant on Silver.
I had the Musakhan 1/2 chicken - it was flavorful and crispy and served on Arabic bread with sautéed onions and sumac. These are all things I love very much and it was perfect. Writing this as I nibble on my leftover bread. The salad my entree came with is something I could eat all day. Crunchy romaine, kalamata olives, flavorful tomato. A light dressing of lemon and olive oil. Top tier side salad. I wanted to get the baba ghanouj as well but it would’ve been an excessive amount of food for me (even if I do love leftovers) so I will be back to try it soon.
My mom had a chicken shawarma sandwich and couldn’t stop saying how delicious it was but I didn’t try to sneak a bite. We drank water but they did have Turkish coffee, mint tea, some options for the soft drink crowd and some fruit drinks, as well. Beer and wine isn’t necessary for such a small/new business, in my opinion. There are plenty of places to get a beer around the corner afterwards.
The space is super comfortable and clean. I love the soft seating and the warm color palette.
The owner was friendly and patient.
The prices were reasonable, especially for the neighborhood. I can’t speak on portion sizes as I usually order too much food and I leave with a box, but the entrees do seem thoughtfully portioned.
I will be thinking about that bread every day up until I eat it again.
I’m willing to try it delivered but I consider freshly made bread worth leaving my house for.
I ordered my gyro sandwich with a salad but was served fries instead which was sort of confusing on the palette. The store environment is very nice and clean with lots of open air. Service was okay. The guava drink from the self serve fridge I got with my sandwich combo was delicious. Prices were reasonable.
Great food, great indoor or outdoor seating, and very nice staff. We loved this place when we lived nearby. Prices are very reasonable and everything we tried was so great! The baklava fresh out of the oven can’t be beat.
Just moved into the neighborhood and this place is definitely going to be a repeat. The Chicken Shawarma is incredible. Friendly service, food was out quick, great location.
