Hot Mess BBQ & Soul Food

The fried catfish doesn't disappoint! The pulled pork sandwiches are very good, the cornbread is a good sweetness and isn't super dry. The truffle fries are packed with flavor. They have lots of options for lemonade flavors which you can mix and match. (The lemonade is very sweet.) The employees were friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience.

10/10, very friendly staff and the food was excellent. The chicken was very good and truffle oil was a great idea. I love the atmosphere and decor, the baked beans and cornbread were amazing as well!

Yo this place is legit. I haven't finished my meal yet and I'm pausing to write this. Pulled pork- nice bark, shredded by hand and delicious. Brisket- crispy bark, moist throughout, perfect. Hot link- snappy skin, very flavorful. Ribs- crispy outside, fall off the bone tender. Collard greens simmered to perfection in a serious umame broth that brings the heat. These folks aren't joking around. Now excuse me, my hands are about to get sticky with this sweet-hot sauce they make in house.

Hot Mess BBQ had food my work lunch for 10 people ready shortly after I called (was quoted 10 minutes, but I wasn't planning to be there for 30 minutes, so they were able to adjust accordingly), and the food was amazing! They even helped me take everything out to my car. We had the wings, pulled pork with toasted buns, brisket, hot links, mac n cheese, cole slaw, baked beans, and corn bread. Everything was amazing and the leftovers were fought over. Highly recommend them for your next BBQ meal!

The restaurant was very clean. The staff was really nice. Our food came out hot and fresh. I loved the sweet potato pie. My only complaint is my piece of cornbread was small for $1.50.
