Mariscos Altamar

Marisco's is a great place to bring the whole family! Staff are friendly, attentive and made excellent food recommendations. Hector is a fantastic host and will ensure your dining and/or catering experience is THE BEST!

The hotel I was staying at recommended Mariscos for dinner, and I was not disappointed. I got the Chili Colorado burrito with guacamole, and the meal also came with rice and beans plus chips and salsa. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful- the meat was not dry at all and was very well marinaded. The staff were super pleasant too and the food came out quickly. I would come here again!

Great food with many seafood choices on the menu. Very reasonable prices, ambiance that lends to conversation, and a very knowledgeable wait staff made for an excellent dining experience. I went on a Friday night and they had a very talented Spanish guitar player.

I've been to Mariscos a few times but for dinner I wanted to take my son somewhere he hadn't been before. So is was awesome that he remembered that a few days ago we were driving by Mariscos and i made a comment: Hey kiddo next time we go out for dinner Lets to go Mariscos!
From the moment we walked in to a kind greeting at the door, to our perfect server #andrearocks , to our delicious looking appetizers & entrees how could the night be any more perfect? Well let me tell you.... when you start posting pics of ur dinner on @instagram and the manager comes out in the dining room, passes by your table and says: are you the NM donut kween, i saw you were posting pics!!! Lol! Lol!!! How kool is that!!!! And he was so kind & generous to offer me a creative dessert! Say what!!!! Wow!!! I was humbled that he thanked me for posting and ahating pics!
It was seriously just amazing and fun and spontaneous! We even took group pics before the night was over!

Loved the food: good and plenty choices, well prepared, tasty, reasonably priced. Friendly and attentive service. PLUS: absolutely no rush, which is so rare in American restaurants. Nice ambience. Place seems to be frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. I certainly recommend this place.
