The Grill on San Mateo

This place was absolutely amazing. Not only did we absolutely love our food, but the decor and mood in the place was very inviting and relaxed. There were some great musicians playing guitar and they even took requests. Phil, the owner, kept entertaining us with funny jokes and even took us on a tour of the restaurant behind the scenes. We will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Albuquerque again.

This was our first time. Really good food. Attached was nice. Atmosphere is cool. Style of food reminds me of Fuddruckers. Just more choices. They have free chips and salsa worth order too. That's cool.

Great place for lunch or dinner. It’s a burger or grilled chicken joint. The food is actually done on an old fashioned grill. I had a chicken sandwich that came out moist. They have an open dressing bar with chips and salsa as well. The decoration is pretty awesome. The owner came out and greeted us as we ordered as well. It’s a real local establishment that we need more of.

I had the rib eye it was good. The owner is great. The decor is awesome.

Fantastic mesquite char-grilled burgers with all the trimmings. Chicken & steak too. The best chocolate cake ever! Live music & dancing featuring the old favorites. Something for everyone! A clean restaurant, enthusiastic service and a charming atmosphere. Truly a local treasure!!!
