Tractor Brewing Company Wells Park

Cojo, Tractor's admin person told me about the 'Troubled Mind Distilling' part of Tractor Brewing so I went in to try their Agave and boy, that was smooth while still having a full taste.
Casey, the very friendly and helpful barman, even let me try a little sip of the red chili infused agave. Great in cocktails but probably a little too strong to drink straight...
I ordered the best charcuterie plate of the Western hemisphere and drank a great chocolate milk stout with it. Definitely a place to come back to!!!

Maybe we've just come on nights where they were super busy or had someone call in sick, but we've come here three different times now and had a very bad experience with the service. The servers are super polite when they get to you, but if they're busy, you're better off just standing near the bar and trying to get helped that way. This last time, I think we waiting about 35 minutes before we decided to send me to the bar with everyone's drink and food order. After that, over the course of the 3 hours we were there, someone came to our table once to check on us. It's really a bummer because the food and drink are amazing here. The beer is fantastic, and their cocktails are really nicely made. The nachos and sandwiches are also excellent. Maybe just hire an extra person or two to work your wait staff, and you'll be perfect.

This place was amazing! I’m not from the area and just ended up meeting a few friends there for a drink. With Casey as our server, we ended up having a great time! Every beer that was recommended was great! I’ll definitely be coming back to Tractor when I’m in town!

Comfortable AND creative! It used to be that I did not favor the beer here, but I really liked the atmosphere. Over time, the beer has improved (I especially like the Milk Stout!) and they have a nice variety of hard ciders (as mentioned by other reviewer‘s) but what I especially appreciate at Tractor Brewing Wells Park is a very homespun and artistic creative energy... They provide an avenue for the burgeoning art scene in Albuquerque. they host a variety of different musicians and musical styles, and they have an intimate and comfortable space. It’s fun and warm, it’s not too noisy, it’s not ultra contemporary... it’s just very comfortable. Yet it is also very interesting and fun. I feel like I can come here either by myself or with friends and feel at home. I feel at home when there’s just a few people in the bar; and I also feel at home when there’s hundreds of people on the bar & grounds and they’re having some special event. So stop in to “Tractor” in Wells Park and you will be welcomed as if coming home after a long hard day.

PS: The table service I received at my recent visit was phenomenal. Nearly immediate & very friendly. People have to expect if they visit a bar downtown and it’s super busy that the service is going to be slow and difficult. There’s only so much that the servers can do! If you are in a hurry for a beer go to the bar and get one!!! After that, You won’t notice how long it takes to get the 2nd or 3rd... you can just sit back and enjoy :-)

A must visit place for a taste of brewing in Albuquerque. Loved the ciders, best ever. Staff is welcoming and great Albuquerque ambassadors.
