The food was fresh, tasted great and you can tell the cooks took pride in their work. I love the idea that even the fries are cut by hand and nothing was overly greasy. The shake was also delicious, it could have been mixed better though when taking a sip it tasted like straight chocolate syrup.
We went closer to closing so it was very quite and relaxed. The server and cooks were extremely friendly despite it being close to the end of their shift after a long hard day working. The food was so good! I had a chicken avocado melt (though they were out of avocado) on fries which was such an interesting idea! It was really good even without the avocado! My daughters got burgers which they enjoyed. And I don't think the price was unreasonable for good food.
This place replaced what used to be a Johnny Rockets in the mall. I used to love going there, so I was eager to see if Upscale lived up to its predecessor. I'd say, it's pretty great! I bought a double cheeseburger with fries and a dark chocolate shake. I really, really liked them, and they turned out much better than I expected them to. Employees were nice too. Highly recommended.
Ordered BLAT, Chipotle chicken sandwich, grilled cheese and a brownie shame. Sandwiches were good, a little small but delish. Highlight were the fresh cut fries. Fries were cut thin. Grilled cheese toast was slightly burned. Service was good. Give this place a try.
