I've eaten here twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times I had an early morning breakfast on a weekday. The food was delicious and the staff was very very attentive. I think everybody in New Mexico knows that wax is a great place for breakfast. If you're thinking about a quick breakfast early on a weekday and you feel like actually having real food I'd recommend stopping by. Thank you very much

Was in Albuquerque for 2 days. Got referred to this spot. Went in Tuesday morning, food was FANTASTIC and service was GREAT. Enjoyed it so much, returned this morning right at 7 when they opened for a second experience. Omlette was perfect, highly recommend "Christmas tree" smothered.. Different waitress, service was OUTSTANDING!!
Will return next time in town. I'm rather picky on dining, and this was my best experience in Albuquerque.

Pretty good Wecks. Great biscuits and gravy. Convenient to my hotel. Very busy place. A bit overpriced. Friendly staff.

I had the big breakfast burrito. It was tasty and good. The size was plenty for me to take home. Side note, My wife and I both tried the New Xtra Hot Chile that you have to ask for. It was good. Had a great Chile heat. We love hot food and can't find a place that has too Hot to eat. 1 through 10 we give it a 5. Meaning it has Good Chile heat. The flavor is amazing and feel most people who eat crazy hot Chile can handle it. If it was a 8 or 9 that would be on the lines of Carolina Reaper Pepper. I suggest asking for it on the side. . However if you are confident then smothered is always the way to go. I'll have pictures later.
