Cafe Chubascos

Very friendly server. Food was delicious. The potato salad was the best I've ever had (besides my grandmother's, of course 🙂). Seriously though, I would just go for the potato salad. I had a chicken avocado wrap and could tell the ingredients were fresh. Just a great little place and a nice cool breeze sitting outside.

Wow, what a find as we were driving through Quemado New Mexico we stopped at the only restaurant, I think in town. Guy Fieri, from Dives and diners needs to stop by here... The food was amazing, I only wish we could of stayed for another meal, they had a lot of choices to pick from and everyone’s looked and tasted great! I won’t be back soon, but if your headed to New Mexico find it.

Everything was done to perfection! Staff is fantastic, fast and friendly. They have a wide variety of food and all of it tastes delicious! Highly recommend.

Had the Quesadilla plate, burrito plate and chips with salsa. Chips came out warm and perfectly salted. Salsa is very good too. Portions are huge. We have enough left over for dinner. A great find! Thanks.

Everything that I want in a small town far from others....great food, friendly service, old-school atmsophere, and open when I needed them to be after a long, rainy drive. Chubascos is also a meeting place for locals and I saw/heard a lot of action and news in just 30 minutes. Two ladies in pajamas dropped by, obviously well-known in these parts, and their matching outfits sported their clothing company name: Bear Essentials

I pass through Quemado once a month and will definitely make sure I stop again for a meal. Note: strong cowboy coffee rules the cup here so be ready. No sleepy drivers will leave these premises.
