The food was unbelievably bland. I don't think salt or spice was added to anything! The green chili corn bread was extremely very and didn't have much flavor either. I am surprised the reviews are so high.

The bathroom decor also has me wondering what is happening!

Great food, kitchy cowboy/alien atmosphere. It was pricey, but it's a tourist town. We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Food was seasoned and prepared really well.

The Roswell Sauce is gluten-free!! Wonderful staff, hearty and delicious food! Try the Alien 👽 Omelet 🛸 with crunchy hash browns and sourdough toast.
Friendly, cowboy atmosphere... we had the best time and we'll be back!!

On the road again I stopped in Roswell for the evening and looked for a locally owned small business restaurant for breakfast. We decided on Cowboy Cafe. The ambiance is set before we even walk in with darling signs and a photo op wagon. The server was all smiles and welcoming and always kept the coffee coming. I got the Liver and Onions chuckwagon which was chicken-fried, served with country mashed potatoes, corn, jalapeño cornbread and a side salad. Hubby got the chicken-fried bacon. Liver isn't like by most, but I love it and it is hard to cook it right but they delivered! The place was clean and quiet. We left sated and satisfied. I absolutely recommend this Roswell gem.

Sweet little country diner that has the best pancakes on the planet. They taste like birthday cake and they're huge. Breakfast is served all day. Chicken fried bacon is excellent even if it is a bit pricey for the amount you get. Waitstaff are always so friendly and accomodating. Definitely eat here! Also just FYI, though it isn't listed as available, you can get just pancakes if you so desire.
