Popo's Mexican Food

Good authentic Mexican food that is well worth the visit. The chips and salsa were great. Service was outstanding and polite.

What a wonderful little restaurant! A fairly small menu that's mostly Mexican with a few American foods (a salad, a club sandwich and a burger) and everything else dowsed in red or green chile.

I had a supreme burrito since it had both sauces and while the burrito was just a burrito, the sauces were very very good. The red sauce is especially tasty, with a little bite and a ton of chile flavor. It's one of the more rich red sauces I've tasted (but, fair warning, I am from the south and our Mexican is a LOT different overall.)

Not only did it seem like a family run kind of place, but the servers seemed to know everyone who came in for lunch, and everyone dining in seemed to know each other, too. It really made the place feel like a bit of a hidden gem.

Next time I'm in Roswell, I'm definitely coming back here.

Popo's is a hidden gem in Roswell. The food tastes great and the waitresses do a good job. The price is beyond fair and their daily specials are an amazing deal. This place probably has has the best red enchiladas in town. I can't say this for certain, because I haven't tried them all, but they definitely have my favorite. Their hours are short, but it makes this place special and ensures they only provide the freshest food.
