Spicy Bite Indian Restaurant

Imagine if a gas station bathroom was a restaurant with yummy food. Was excited to try this place and the food was good, though I agree with other reviewers about the massive chunks of chicken thrown into whatever curry or sauce you order it with. However, the place was extremely dirty which made it kind of hard to enjoy my food. I love a dive as much as the next guy, but this was out of my comfort level. May I suggest ordering to take away, even if it’s just to eat in your car.

Very tasty, really good food. Indian cuisine is on the top of my list. Today I got shrimp curry, shrimp biryani, paratha with yogurt, and four rotti. I went mild this time but next time I will definitely go spicy! I love Indian food, it’s always a joy to find a new restaurant, and experience the unique flavor of each kitchen. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend! Please do not forget the chai tea!

People complained there’re no good dining options at Grants, NM, well, that’s because they didn’t find this gem. We stumbled onto it during our Route 66 road trip. Authentic Indian food. Tasty and fresh. They only do takeouts currently, maybe due to the pandemic. It’s a hole-in-wall at a truck stop, next to the Wow Diner. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Highly recommend it.
