Blue House Bakery & Cafe

Place is small...however the food is awesome. Had the French toast, a plain bagel and various cookies for the flight home and couple cups of mild and dark coast coffee. There is plenty of outdoor seating if you do desire. The selection of coffees is solid as well as other bougie selections if regular coffee isn't your thing. Atmosphere is awesome and service is good. Definitely the only reason to be in Carlsbad 😂

Cute spot in a residential-style neighborhood, so the atmosphere is really charming and pleasant. Lots of outdoor seating. Great coffee with lots of choices. Pastries were excellent. Breakfast sandwiches were tasty and well-contructed. A popular spot for good reason.

My family and I stopped by Blue House for a little snack before heading out to Carlsbad Caverns. We tried a few different pastries and they were all so good. Our favorite was the Raspberry Croissant! We also had a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte and it was delicious!! Will definitely stop in if in the area again!!

Staff is friendly and welcoming. They know the names of regulars. Good location for a leisurely breakfast or to pick up something to carry out. Simple breakfast menu, but something for everyone.
