We had the buffet. The food was a little on the cold side. They should turn up the heat on the warming tables. The young lady that tended to us was very friendly. The establishment was clean inside and out. They have been here since before the pandemic and this was our first time visiting. I think we will try something from the menu next time we are there though.
All you can eat Mexican restaurant with additional dishes on the regular menu. Food on buffet line has a mixture of meats like pork, beef, and chicken cooked different ways. Usually 2-3 types of soups like chicken soup, menudo, and pozole, and of course your sides like rice, beans, enchiladas and Mexican spaghetti. They also have a salad and dessert bar as well. Friendly staff and definitely good food, worth a try.
This was our first time here 5.29.22 Sunday. The food was okay, there isn't much of a selection even though it is a buffet, you get the basic Tex/Mex favorites just made differently. My parnter & myself had ordered the Menudo. It was good nothing amazing & nothing less. If your looking for a quick bite this is the place.
Our family enjoyed some authentic homemade Mexican food at La Regia after our trip to Guadalupe Mountain National Park. Our server (Paco) and kitchen staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome at their restaurant. The red salsa that came with the chips was deliciously spicy and all of the food we ordered was very good!! The rice & beans that came with the plates we ordered were some of the best we’ve had. The beef (carne asada) was a little too tough and had to be chewed on for a while, so was hard to eat. The food was also extremely greasy so it was delicious but difficult to finish the meal. Overall, we recommend trying out this restaurant if you live in Carlsbad or are visiting one of the many tourist attractions.
Soooo good, and cool in a chill way. The food is fresh, delicious, and large portions. They made a retro building modern, clean, and welcoming. Great music & comfy chairs. They went out of their way to make my partner an incredible vegan burrito with veggies, tofu, avocado, and sauce. Super nice staff. 👏🏼
