We stopped in for dinner during a long road trip. The staff were kind and polite; they let us take a menu outside so we could figure out what to order, since we walked up with our dog. We didn’t wait long for our order. Everything was delicious! We had the tamales, enchiladas, spicy chips and salsa, and a slice of the peach pie. Would definitely eat here again!
Traveling and went by for supper. This is a family run business since 1927. The restaurant is on historic route 66 in Santa Rosa New Mexico. The menu has a variety of items listed; hamburgers, steak shrimp, fish, New Mexican ethnic food and pie. One wall has historic items. The food is very tasty. I did have to ask for a second glass of tea, otherwise I would not have recived one. The tea glass is small. They were all very friendly.
Quaint old time diner along route 66. I enjoyed it. I should have ordered a Mexican Dish but I opted for a fried Ham, lettuce, tomato sandwich that was tasty. We also had sweet corn nuggets. Only knock is they forgot the cheese on my sandwich.
Service was fast and the salsa is SPICY! 🌶
I came in during the Ballon Fest weekend in Albuquerque. Parking was easy, and I was seated and served very fast. The salsa was the spiciest salsa I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant, and I loved it!
Food came out incredibly quick, but unfortunately it tasted like the rice was sitting around for a while. The chimichanga was fried perfectly though!
Amazing food that is fresh and delicious. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The service was excellent and the servers were so nice. We loved talking to the owner about his family and the restaurant’s history. The restaurant is family owned and has been in business for 90 years. This should be a stop on every traveler’s list. If we come back this way, we will definitely stop again.
