The Ranchers Steak and Seafood Restaraunt

We dined here tonight and had a wonderful meal and wonderful server, Francisco. My French Dip sandwich was awesome and one of the very best. The prime rib was tender and very tasty. The roll used was just enough bread and not overwhelming. The side of Tobacco onion strings were delicious and enough to share with my husband. We will certainly be back. Two meals there this week have convinced us.

I was hesitant to eat here after some of the recent reviews, but our experience was nothing like them. We ordered Calamari for the appetizer and split the 14 oz prime rib for our meal and had the tart for dessert. Everything was wonderful! The prime rib was so tender you could cut it with a fork if you wanted to. My husband wanted cocktail sauce with the calamari and our waitress went to the back and made us some from scratch and it was delicious! The dessert was wonderful also, hot apples, maple bourbon ice cream, caramel sauce and crust, I mean, come on! Who wouldn’t like that!
The waitress went way beyond what I’ve experienced at a lot of restaurants recently. And because of the complaints about service I kept an eye on the room. Both our waitress and the waiter taking care of the other half of the room were excellent! Very attentive and fast. The don’t know if the previous complaints had to do with the madness of spring break or what, but I will definitely be back!

Here again after 8 months. Ordered prime rib, green chili wrapped beef tips and a sirloin steak with 2 Cesar salads and a house salad with jalapeno ranch. The prime was still under seasoned, like eating watery beef. The sirloin was better, this time around. The green chili wrapped beef tips could have been kale, or bell peppers, absolutely beyond mild adding little more than color. And the beef tips weren't seasoned before hitting the searing pan, so they were bland as well. Sad that the jalapeno ranch was the only thing with bite. This is strike two for me personally.

Went here for supper on a Sunday around 6 pm . Seated right away. Started off with a pineapple jalapeño Margarita 🍹 it was spicy and perfect. My wife ordered the French onion soup and spinach salad. I got the filet and house salad. The French onion soup was great, with lots of flavor and just the right amount of cheese. I did not try the spinach salad as it had goat cheese, and I am not a fan. My wife said it was great with spinach grapes, walnuts, and goat cheese. The vinegrete was hot as in heat, not spicy. My salad was good, just spring mix with carrots. The Thousand Island dressing was definitely homemade. My steak was cooked perfectly with a little butter on top. Mashed potatoes were good, not overly flavorful, Still a good experience. We will go back when we are in town.
