Juniper Coffee + Eatery

Enjoyed the lattes very much - perfect microfoam and the mocha was delicious too. Blue corn waffle was fluffy and yum. Pleasant relaxed feel inside with a nice patio too. Likely the best coffee for miles around.

Cappuccino was OK, blueberry muffin pretty good but there was a 2" long piece of string in it. I'll give them another chance because it's a nice place with shaded outdoor seating.

We were passing through from Salt Lake City and had to stop here. We don't like the chain coffee places, small businesses usually have a personal feel and the food is better. Juniper met my expectations. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the coffee was great; I really enjoyed the blue corn breakfast bowl drizzled lightly with honey.

Family owned businesses like this one are part of the secret sauce to what makes New Mexico so special. The apricot turkey sandwich here is divine. Owner, Hamilton, made me an iced herbal tea with honey that was most refreshing, and the ambiance of the cafe is a feeling that can’t be felt anywhere else.
