Porter's Restaurant and Smokehouse

Our food and service was good. Ordered steak fingers with sweet potato fries, the vegetable, and brown gravy. Everything was fine except half way through my meal I found a random French fry in my gravy, with no explanation from my server as to how it got there. Didn’t finish eating my gravy.
Then when we were paying the bill at the register, my husband tried making conversation with the lady running the register and she completely ignored him and wrote him off. Wouldn’t eat there again.

The food was OK. The steak is cut thin which was different but still cooked perfectly Medium.
Our drinks went empty and we didn't see our waitress until she brought the check. We usually tip well..this time we didn't. If our waitress was more attentive I would rate higher and our whole dining experience would've been great.
Despite this experience we will be back and I do recommend. There is alot we saw on the menu that we want to try.

We stopped in at Porter's Restaurant and Smokehouse. We had 6oz Steak,bake potatoes, house salad & corn, squash, onion saute togather. The Steak & potatoes was delicious but,I didn't like the veggies. the restaurant was warm inside. The waitress was nice but,she kept pulling down her face mask to talk 😖. My experience was ok.
