Taco Box

I was going to just post the word "taquitas". It's the great taste comfort food, that is produced by a restaurant. I'm in my 40's and guarantee the flavor to be the same as far back as I can remember. Friends and family have moved away, they tell me the only thing they miss about Farmington, N.M. is TACO BOX.

Although not gourmet taco, they are tasty and about what you would expect. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely try other food items as the place looked like it produces good fast food, and not just cheap lame major chain type food but better than average. I did ask for their hotter salsa and what I got was way too mild to ever be classified as hot. I think they could and should improve on their salsa. Give them a try, I think it's worth it.

Taquitos were fresh and hot plus love the hot sauce been almost 13 years since I've eaten there and I was blown away by how friendly the workers, manager were and how clean it was and no one was standing around!

I don't understand how this place has such good reviews about the food. Perhaps the food was better at another point in time. I was extremely disappointed with the food. It is edible but very bland and certainly NOT authentic Mexican food. The woman who brought out our order was very friendly. Food is 1 star but gave Taco Box 3 stars for the friendly service.

Passing through Farmington and asked a local where to get some quick mexican food. This place is the bomb. The employees were so helpful and very nice. The food was excellent. Tried the Tequitas because that's what we were told were the best. They were good, but the chicken taco and the chicken burrito smothered in green chili sauce were to die for!! I want the recipe for their green chili sauce!! If we ever make it back to Farmington this will be the first place we stop!!
