Happy hour is the way to go for a delicious drink! Remember it's not ALL drinks, so be sure to check or ask before ordering your drink. We made the mistake of having our kids place the order assuming shakes were included and ended up with a $48.00 tab. Far from $24.00!
I am a regular customer and always happy with my order and the friendliness of staff! However it drives me crazy how nobody uses the drive-thru Lane and blocks the stalls constantly! Some customers are spending 5 minutes just trying to leave! I really think something needs to be done, this is a problem I see every time I go (3-4 times a week!)
Food was delicious, hot and fast, but service may vary.
Pushed the red button at 637pm didn't get an answer until 639pm. Was greeted with, "How can I help you?"& then ordered for a family of 5. I had made an error when ordering and asked to have easy ice on all drinks, no response for about 30 seconds. I said "Hello?" Intercom responded with "I am putting easy ice on ALL of your drinks." Gave total of $36.78 and asked if my order was correct on screen. I paid w/ a card. At 646pm a carhop, Destiny, came out asking for verification of my ID and card due to such a large purchase. Destiny was very polite and read my ordered back to me and went back inside and retrieve my order. Left Sonic at 652pm.
I was happy with the fast readiness of food, polite and courtesy carhop- Destiny, & cleaninessly of lot. I wasn't happy with the person on the intercom's tone, lack of courtesy and not suggestive or up selling.
Also I felt a bit insulted when asked for my ID for my purchase. I understand identities are stolen and verification is required and possibly this is a new regulation of Sonic, but my family and I have been going to this location for years and have never been asked to verify identity for purchases over $36
