Decent small Mexican restaurant. Primary setup for take out and they have a drive through window. Two small bar height tables inside and a large patio just out front. I've given the place a few tries and overall I've found the food to be pretty bland. The only thing I found 'ok' was the breakfast burrito. Perhaps worth a try.

I’ve been on a mission to find a solid burrito spot in Santa Fe and finally happened to just stumble into it. They have your classic breakfast burrito options in addition to many taco choices. I chose the Sausage Breakfast Burrito with red. It was a generous and balanced serving of all the ingredients! Best burrito Ive found in NM and excellent customer service.

Stopped in to get a breakfast burrito before hitting the road. I got one with chorizo and red and green chile. Was greeted by a happy man who also gave me a free sample of cucumber lemonade. Burrito was huge and delicious. Good value as well. I would definitely go back.

Great food and great service. Seriously. This is now my first choice when I'm craving tacos in Santa Fe, New Mexico. (I'm not from here but I do visit a lot.)

On my first visit*, I had three tacos: Carnitas, Al Pastor and Fish. The meat was so tender, the tacos assembled with care, and the taste.... yum! And Samuel, who took my order, was so friendly and patient, making suggestions based on my preferences. (I was like... "I'm visiting from NYC for work and I want green chile on EVERYTHING!" Can't get it on the East Coast.) Samuel also gave me a complimentary cup of the Green Chile Stew -- such a nice complement to my trio of tacos. (And some extra sides of fresh green chiles and x-hot sauce.) I ate outside so it was a little chilly even with the sun. But the stew warmed me up from the belly out!

*So my first visit was sabotaged by a flat tire about a mile from K'Bueno. By the time I changed the tire, it was past closing time at K'Bueno Tacos. The next day, I got the tire changed and made a bee-line for K'Bueno Tacos. So. Worth. It!

If you're still reading.... I went back the next day because I couldn't stop thinking about my first meal. This time I ordered a carnitas burrito with avocado and green chiles. Each bite was amazing, though it was not as handheld as I had hoped. (I ate it in the car.) I needed lots of napkins to make it through, but it was still worth it. Next time I'll plan to eat it on a plate. And on this visit, I was given a complimentary Quesa Birria. Oh, the flavors... and dipping it in the broth.. yum! That was the first time I've ever had Quesa Birria but definitely not the last time. I think I'll have one each time I visit K'Bueno as a starter!

My wife will visit me in two weeks and our first meal will be at K'Bueno. And before we head to the airport to go home, we'll swing by K'Bueno Tacos. I'm already planning on how we can bring back K'Bueno's food in my checked luggage. 4realz. I hope other people enjoy K'Bueno as much as I have. Great food and people. What more can you ask for!

Service was great but food fell short in satisfying the taco craving. Maybe because we ordered a few types of tacos to get a better idea of their offerings it may have been too varied of an order. Most of the issues were in the execution as the meat was a bit tough/dry, fish taco was overloaded with soggy cabbage, and mole spices not well incorporated. But it wasn’t bad so I will try them at least one more time before making a final judgment.
