Plaza Cafe Downtown

Great spot for a tasty breakfast located right off the plaza. The staff cares about what they are doing and it can be tasted in the food. Our waitress has worked her for over 40 years! The green salsa was awesome and if you can decide get Christmas tree is a mix of both!

The atmosphere was energetic. Staff really enjoy their jobs. The food was really good. We had the BLT and Club sandwich with fries. I typically don't eat fries, but they are good. Sandwich was stuffed. A must for lunch.

Loved the corner street location! Enjoyed lunch send came back for Happy Hour. Both times I sat in their outdoor seating area! The margaritas are the best! Had an enchilada for lunch and enjoyed chips with guacamole and salsa with the margaritas! Great spot to watch all the activity and hustle and bustle. The servers were polite and great! Definitely a popular spot and didn’t take long to get seated.

Yesterday we we’re running all over Santa Fe the first day of our visit and didn’t have a lot of time for lunch. Our guide gave us a great tip. This place had a 30 minute wait (which I understand is usual at lunchtime) but our guide suggested we sit at the counter. Which we did and got seated right away. Great service to go along with the chicken quesadilla, the Mexican salad and the frito pie. It’s not fine dining, it’s fun dining. Bravo.

Lovely outdoor seating. Delicious food. Service was excellent. Our first meal in the Plaza was here and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids portions were a good size. Very popular so arriving early is recommended.
