Definitely not what I was expecting when a local waitress recommended stopping into the Giddy Up Cafe! I’m so glad we stopped in! We shared the Hawaiian Dinner Special and boy was it good!
There was a line when we entered but honestly was happy to see they were busy! The wait was manageable and the outdoor eating area was perfect to relax and chit chat while we waited.
We will definitely be back to try their breakfast the next time we’re in town!
You order at the front, find a seat and they will bring the food out to you. The food is a good portion. They do offer alternatives for dietary restrictions. I ordered the quiche and had a beautiful side of fruit. It was delicious. My husband got an omelet burrito and it came with a side of well seasoned quinoa. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. Definitely recommend.
My friends and I ate breakfast on a Sunday at The Giddy up Cafe. Great service and food. The food is pricey, paid $13 for a biscuit with green Hatch gravy and another $13 for an omelet. Vegetarian options are available. However, I am lactose intolerant and no dairy free options available for coffee. Sitting is limited and mostly outside. Unfortunately, someone was hovering over us to finish eating so they could sit. Overall, a cute place to grab a quick bite.
We stopped for lunch at the Giddy Up Cafe. What a treat!
Delicious, healthy food in more than enough portions.
We ordered two omelets with different additions as well as a veggie omelette with an egg. Portions were large enough to share if you want.
We parked on the street just across from the restaurant.
Lovely shaded patio area made our visit complete as well as a delightful young lady who took our order.
It’s not far off the interstate so stop by if you’re hungry.
Let me just say WOW! First of all, the two ladies running this place are so sweet and kind. The energy here is great and there’s a beautiful place to sit outdoor. TRY THE ZIA SODA! Being a vegan in New Mexico, it’s always such a treat to find vegan food, let alone a vegan Mac and cheese… 10/10 recommend coming here
