This is the spot to go to if you're looking for amazing tacos! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I've had tacos, quesadillas, flautas, and the tortas - all were excellent. The salsas are fresh and spicy.
My mom and dad got the same order of el jefe, i got chicken and beef flautas, my sister got a steak quesadea and something else she ate it before I could take a photo and my sister is picky and she ate all of it.
The service was very nice and welcoming, the food was just, oh goodness it was good, they gave a good amount of limes so there's plenty for everyone, really good salsas that have a bite to them too.
We're gonna be a regular now.
If you have yet to try them I highly suggest it!
Good portions of food as well, normally I don't like red onions at all but whatever they did is making me question if I secretly do like them
Oh and it was just ready in 15 minutes!
Meals for 4 people up and ready just after 15 minutes and it was sooooo goooooooooood.
Absolutely a wonderful place for some authentic tacos and other food. I wish I could do four and a half stars because that extra half star would be for them to get beer and wine. No need for hard alcohol but you're in tacos on a nice summer night. Just go together. I had the tacos pastor and the wife had chicken tacos. The salsas are absolutely amazing with a nice little bite and incredible flavor all around. Highly recommend this place if you are in the Los Lunas area. The owner came out and explained that they make their own tortillas including the corn tortillas and The passion and love for the craft truly shows in the food. Can't wait to go back!!
Me and my wife tried the Al Pastor, Birria, steak and chorizo tacos. They were all delicious. The patron salsa was delicious and had a different flavor than what I’m used to finding in NM. Even the beans that come with the plates were delicious. Only thing I could maybe ask for is for them to carry Jarritos. Without a doubt one of the best taquerias I’ve been to in LL or even Albuquerque. They also allow you to customize your food quite a bit and are sure to mention things like the Pastor coming with pineapple on it which we appreciated as my wife is allergic. All the staff was very friendly. We were checked on several times while there. The owner also gave us a good explanation of the menu and all the options we had to choose from when we walked in the door. Service is amazing. And last the price was pretty fair compared to other spots I’ve been to. $30 before tax to feed 2 people in 2023 for something cooked to order is hard to find anymore. 10/10. Will certainly be back soon!
These are some quality tacos! I’d highly recommend the 5 Fry tacos “El Jefe”. They are freshly fried, crispy and flavorful. They came with a sauce and a salsa, I got additional salsa and limes at their little salsa cart inside. My husband got the quesabirria tacos, they were super flavorful and rich. The charro beans are tasty and had a cute “torito” chip. Nice touch. The staff was very friendly, inviting and helpful. They said the El Jefe tacos would take a little longer to make, I said no problem. But they were very quick. The outdoor area is really nice for sitting when it’s nice out. The price is well worth what you get!
