Albany Halal BBQ House

I am a firm believer of giving credit where credit is due. I want to take the time out and give a well-deserved five star review to this restaurant. Albany has quite a few Indian restaurants that claim to be the best. I have ate at many and I must say this one deserves that accolade. Even the service you receive from the staff there is excellent. For instance my fiancé and I, were traveling and staying in a hotel and being there was no place to eat ,we ordered. With lack of utensils and silverware because we were traveling the extremely friendly lady who took our order made sure She accommodated our needs even down to individually package salt and pepper. To me it’s the little things. As far as the food goes, Even if your entry level taste buds to Indian food there’s something for you here. I cannot recommend this place enough to people and I wanna give kudos again to the lady who works there and took our order. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

Reasonable price, food taste well enough to pass the price. Food Qty was proportioned. Fast service. Small, Clean place. Very nice, chatty waitress. Friendly environment.

Chana Masala is a must, creamy and flavorful with soft chickpeas that melt in the mouth. The staff is pleasant and efficient, friendly on the phone and their, always worth the walk and has good hours and some of the best portions around.

We tried the Tandoori chicken. The taste was very authentic and as good as if not better than any other Bangladeshi/Indian food places we've tried in Albany. Will definitely try other items at this place.

Excellent and prompt service! Food was yummy with good size portions too. We tried this place before when it was owned by the previous owners and was hesitant to try it again today but glad that we did since it has changed for the better. Definitely recommend to try it!
