K-Plate (Albany)

A hidden gem that deserves much more recognition. The quality of the food is incredible for the price. While it may not be the most authentic Korean cuisine, it's still enough to satisfy any Korean cravings, in addition is a great introduction for anyone who hasn't had Korean food before. The portions are generous and the price point very affordable. Friendly service and great central location. A must visit!

He actually tried this place by accident the other night, as the restaurant we were trying to order from was closed. What a nice surprise! In the mold of good restaurants everywhere, the menu is short, and we tried a little bit of everything. We can report that the food is hot, fresh, and utterly delicious. If you like Korean food, and are looking for something a little different than the more formal sit down restaurants in the area, you should give this a try as soon as possible.

I was so excited to see this place coming to the downtown Albany area. I tried it for the first time today and it was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be coming back for more. Prices are very reasonable too.
