McGeary's

The live band was awesome. It was late and busy. I know that the bartenders were working hard, but i was literally looked over 5 times, and when i spoke up, it seemed to irtitate him. I have been going to this bar for many years, I know what to expect late night. Usually a great place to have a good time.

We were introduced to McGeary's by a local hotel employee, and it was exactly what we needed. We were with our toddler, and they accommodated us easily in the back dining room. Our son has an egg allergy, and they were great about checking items for us so I knew what he could eat. Even though there was live music when we were there, the back dining room was at a reasonable sound level (so we could have a conversation). The food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend for tourists looking for some local flair while in town!

McGeary's is our favorite place to go. We love pinball and great service. We generally just eat bar food, and have no complaints. The bar is run by a top-notch lady!

Really yummy comfort food. Service was friendly and attentive. Fun laid back place with 60s and 70s music playing on a Sunday. Great sliders and veggie burger.

Met friends for lunch on Saturday, March 2nd at 1:00pm. Not too busy, short wait for bartender to finish with customers and seat us. Loved the laid back atmosphere. We had to wait a bit for our friends to arrive and got drinks and menus to look at while waiting. Friends arrived and were promptly given menus and new drink orders were taken. We ordered a range of foods: chili, French onion soup, two different types of burgers and a chicken sandwich, plus an order of seasoned fries and an order of sweet potato fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals, food was hot, delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Drinks were refreshed as needed, waitstaff was casual, witty, attentive without loitering, and helpful. We were encouraged to linger and take our time over our meal. Our chatty group felt comfortable laughing and telling stories (we had been seated in the back!). We are not from the area, but if we were we would be regulars!
