Really really good food!!!! Good prices. The lamb is cooked perfectly and the chicken tastes amazing. All the veggies were fresh. Really friendly staff too!

If you’re thinking about trying this place, go for it! The food is consistently delicious and the value for money is amazing. I get the falafel rice platter with vegetables and my bf gets the chicken and I love that it’s open later than most places. On my most recent Shahs Halal run, the owner was nice enough to let me sample their fish platter. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The fish was fresh, light and flaky. It will definitely be my new order going forward. Everyone I have referred has come back with nothing but good things to say.

Omg I love there food. Store is very clean and food is spot on. Taste just like theirs stores in New York City. So glad they opened in the 518! Best gyros !

My husband and I have been here a couple times and so far we've been impressed. Our favorite menu item is the chicken over rice (the lamb is good too, but we preferred the chicken), which you can customize with different veggies and sauces. Their fries are quite thick and seasoned well. The chicken sandwich is similar to the original chicken sandwich at Burger King, but I still enjoyed it. All the meat is halal, and it's great to have another halal option in Albany. The prices are fair for the quality and amount of food you get. The workers and the owner are friendly and provide fast service. We'll continue to get our fast food fix here!
