Their beef noodle soup (牛肉麵湯) is very authentic looking and tasting. Soft blocks of beef float next to some greens resting on firm noodles which are sitting in a flavorful broth. I have tried a few of their dishes, the beef noodle soup (牛肉麵湯) is their best. I also came looking for pork belly buns (掛包) , which they have but are quite different from what I have had in Taiwan and expected from here. Taiwan Noodle uses a single firm piece of pork, I much more prefer the shredded meat style. If they had the other pork belly buns I would have given 5 stars
My husband and I were driving to Albany today for a short trip and arrived around lunch time. It was cold and snowy, so I wanted a place with warm comfort food that wasn’t a chain restaurant. I found Taiwan Noodle and the reviews were great and photos of the food looked amazing, so in we went. I must say this is hands down the best food we’ve had in a LONG time! We got the steamed pork soup dumplings, stewed beef chuck noodle soup, and a chicken curry dish. Everything was divine, the service was great, and staff was friendly. It was so good that we’re still talking about it after we arrived home and decided we will have to make a regular trip out to Albany just to go here. You won’t be disappointed. YUM!
Taiwan Noodle is absolutely amazing! The place may not look like much from outside but the food is tremendously delicious and authentic. The restaurant is clean and well organized. I will definitely be coming back often! Also the service was very good and all the workers friendly!
Definitely would come back here for their dim sum! All of it was good and reasonably priced. The seafood casserole was filled with perfectly cooked seafood, but may not be everyone’s favorite dish. Their noodles were just fine.
No frills Cantonese-style food. Service is quick and their meals always hit the spot. Only thing I would avoid is the flavored Bubble tea (original is fine), since it's fairly obvious they use the powder mix instead of blended fruit.
