This is some very decent Jamaican food run almost solely by a single woman. Awesome Goat Curry if you're into that sort of thing.. Plantains are quite delicious too. A little bit disorganized but that's kinda what I expect & look for in a Caribbean restaurant.

The Dutch Pot has some of the best Jamaican food I've ever had. I highly recommend their jerk chicken, it's bursting with flavor and falls right off the bone. I myself pair it with rice and beans with a side of mac and cheese, though I would imagine any of their sides would be just as good. If you're in the Albany area and like Jamaican cuisine, The Dutch Pot should be number one on your list!

Love this place. My best friend from childhood had parents straight from Jamaica so I know authentic Jamaican food, and this is it. My favorite dish is the curry goat, nice and spicy, with a beef patty on the side. If spicy doesn't suit you they have options you can try as well, like the oxtail.
Make sure to try the plantains and the Mac and cheese. All their meat falls right off the bone and is well seasoned.
Best Jamaican I've had in Albany so far.
