American House & Hotel

It's basically a small bar with good food and a friendly bartender. There are two tables but I wouldn't consider this a restaurant.

This place is so nice and amazing, food is delicious. Staff is friendly and family like. So nice to just go and sit inside the bar and listen to music. Some times it's packed but it just depends on the day. You definitely make a lot of friends there and get to know many people. The actual hotel above it is pretty nice if you're just staying over night, but I'm not sure if it's actually haunted or not but it's still fun but it's still fun none the less

My boyfriend and I visited this place on a whim- we're from Rochester and had planned to go to Cartwright's, but their line was crazy and not budging after 20 mins and we were starving and freezing. I googled nearby breakfast places and found American House & Hotel, and we are SO glad we did! The decor is cute and small town Americana, as well as cozy and clean. We were seated immediately, and told about the brunch buffet. Our waitress (as well as the rest of the staff we encountered) was very friendly, personable and attentive. The buffet was so good- comfort food at its best, with a ton of options. It was also reasonably priced! The atmosphere was comfortable, relaxed and quiet. We really wish we didn't live so far, because we'd definitely be frequenting. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience!
