La Morada consistently does more than simply serve the best Mexican Food in the Bronx. They also serve the needs of the Mott Haven neighborhood and the broader community of people resisting the oppressive effects of gentrification. Support this business and enjoy their food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
First time at La Morada! The service was excellent!????????La Morada has by far the best mole I’ve tasted in NYC. I ordered a pork mole poblano with rice, beans and tortillas. I also got a chinola juice which was so delicious! Very very few restaurants in NYC serve Mexican food that tastes like home and isn’t expensive. La Morada is one of those few and I can’t wait to go back to try tacos and other dishes ????????????????????????
The BEST authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had so fresh and the staff are even more wonderful very friendly. Loved the quaint cozy restaurant also
We had suggested black meat mole and cactus salad. Food was not so good as expected, but eatable. The atmosphere was interesting but not really beautifully decorated. It seems as if they would appreciate folk art, but the big screen tv was playing abominable program and loud. The waiter tried to be very instructive but spoke too soft. In general it was a bit awkward.
This place is awesome. It’s a small hidden gem in the Bronx. It’s a family owned restaurant and it’s delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. They deserve their Michelin recommendation. They make their own mole sauce which is very hard to find. I love this small local restaurant. The food is delicious and I felt like I was in Mexico while eating here.
