Excellent jerk chicken! Candied yams are the best I've ever had. Very good collard greens, okra was good but a little too slimy. Skip their mix vegetable, it's a letdown. Cheese macaroni was good. Potato salad was terrific. Fried chicken is really nice also, not too oily, and cooked perfectly.

I love the food and with great experience I give three stars due to the fact that I travel with expectations that I can purchase what I traveled to purchase only to arrive and a lot of the food is gone I recommend that they stay fully stocked till closing time because the food is great but if I constantly visit and the food that I want is gone then I wasted my time traveling and will not want to waste knowing that food is gone near closing time I work late so nights that I do I want a filling meal but tend to change my mind on the fact that everything is always done

So Disappointed I just tried to order 3 family meals and they were out of Mac and cheese !!! How when you have a whole hour left before you guys are suppose to be closed. The food is amazing but who ever is running the show in the kitchen needs to step there game up several customers including myself came for Mac and cheese you guys lets us all down and lost a lot of money. Some people come from a long day of work and look forward to your food but if you continue this path I'm sure you will loose loyal customers like myself. So angry.

My two teenage boys (one with a big appetite) & I arrived in the Bronx to attend a Baseball Game at Yankee Stadium at the beginning of July 2018. We are from Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada...& were unfamiliar with the area. Regardless, we walked in search of food, before gametime, when we stumbled upon Flavas, which is located very near Yankee Stadium. It had minimal seating but it was busy...a good sign we figured...no long lineups but a steady flow of human traffic. We were warmly welcomed by the ladies behind the counter/cash. They seemed surprised that we had opted to eat in?...There were multiple choices of dishes; portion sizes were massive!!! Taste was flavourful. We ordered two SMALL plates plus a piece of salmon & a side...& we had leftovers for the coming days! The food was inexpensive, the most inexpensive we had found during our week long vacation to NYC...& it was delicious!!! Truly delicious. Highly recommended. Thank-you! ❤

Food is delicious and the portion is great enough food to last you all day. The oxtail is to die for and mac n cheese is awesome. Gotta day best Caribbean food I had in a long time.
