Great decor, and music the jerk chicken was excellent but the rice and peas lacked coconut milk and thyme season.. I did not have a beverage, a glass of Juice was 7.00 kinda pricey for the bronx. The location is across the street from the precinct, so of course there is no parking. But I give it 4 out of 5 stars.. thats how good the decor and the jerk chicken was. I would definitely go back with friends..

I placed an order off Uber Eats my total was $29.35 for a plate of oxtail with sweet mash potatoes, cabbage and a side order of sweet plantain’s. Overall the food tasted good, but the food was a bit over priced if you ask me especially since I didn’t get that much oxtail and they were full of fat and it was the big bone chunky piece of oxtail which is not what I’m use to. The sweet Potato is not what I was expecting I thought it was going to be the type of sweet potato you make candy yams with but it was the white sweet Potato I got instead. I was a bit disappointed at first because I thought I was ordering from Flava’s international grill,but it was this place instead, go figure, so yeah not at all what I was expecting but not totally disappointed because the food wasn’t bad just the pricing is terrible.

The owners are FANTASTIC and personable. The staff are hospitable, knowledgeable, kind, and truly share their Caribbean roots. The food is authentic, seasoned, and tastes like food granny and mama used to cook back home. A must to come back when the lounge opens...
