Very good pastrami and hot dogs in this traditional kosher deli. Open early enough for breakfast and late enough for dinner.
Excellent food. Love their sandwiches and soups
Old school Jewish deli with great assortment of deli food, soups and dinner fare. The matzo balls are soft and fluffy and give a homemade feel. Their app makes for easy ordering especially on to go orders. Would highly recommend.
I got matzoh ball soup, 1/2 roast beef sandwich, and a potato knish for $25. The food was decent, but not worth that much. Also, they charged 10.50 for the half sandwich and I only got 1 pickle.
This could be the archetype for the New York Jewish deli. It's a hike without a car, but for those who drive, there's a parking lot behind (you'll have to walk around the block to the front door). Inside, friendly staff greets you and can regale you with stories as you eat on a slow, rainy day among the regulars. Of course the pastrami was excellent, and the matzoh ball in the soup dense and perfect. Even the humble hot dog shone, with a snappy casing and a bit of spiciness in every bite. Well worth a detour to see a bit of old New York.
